I’m putting a set of seats in my old truck and need to make sure I’m hooking up the wires that I need for everything to work. Don't really want to have to buy the retrofit kit as I have all of the parts to make one. Have searched everywhere but can find a diagram. WebNov 2, 2024 · The slot marked for seat heaters didn't have a fuse and didn't get power (it wasn't wired in since the car didn't come with seat heaters). I took a bunch of pictures when I did this install a couple months ago. It took a couple hours per side, but having seat heaters is so worth it. If there's some interest, I could put together a diy.

Both seats had the same harness clips, but the passenger seat only had 4 or 5 wires in it, (for the air bag, and the seat belt sensor). You will find a gray 4-way connector between cushion and recliner. Check the wire to this connectors, Check the resistance on the other side of this connector. That brings up my OCD where I willl have two shades of gray on the drivers seat and won't match the passenger seat. With the cost of the pads, That isn't acceptable. fedez tedua
